At Saltwater Swim Schools, we understand that you cannot always make your scheduled classes. If you are unable to make a class, simply mark yourself away through our easy-to-use Customer Portal. From there, you will be able to book a class at your convenience. For more information, please see our policies.

What is the max number of students in each lesson?
:

Our lessons are capped at 4 students maximum for all of our Beginner and Intermediate levels. This allows us to give your child the necessary attention they need to maximise their potential.

It also ensures that we can track the continued development of your child and ensures they are getting the best out of each and every lesson. Please see our class ratios below:

  • Toddler classes: 8:1 (8 students per teacher)
  • Beginner classes: 4:1 (4 students per teacher)
  • Level 1 to Level 2: 4:1 (4 students per teacher)

  • Pre-Squad lessons are held over 45 mins and have between 6-10 swimmers per teacher.

Can I book at any time throughout the term?
:
;

We can take enrolments at any stage throughout the year. Should you be starting mid-way through the term, your fees are calculated on a pro-rata basis.. Should we not have your preferred days and times available when you enquire, we have the ability to waitlist you and will contact you once a spot becomes available.

What is the School Holiday program?
:
;

Our School Holiday Programs are available for all NEW and EXISTING families – this accelerated Learning Program is a fantastic way to ensure your child’s progress doesn’t lapse and allows you to condense your swimming lessons into a shorter time frame, allowing for other activities during the term. Operating during ALL school holiday periods, our 4 or 5-day swim intensive lessons (closed on any public holidays) run for 30 minutes and allow your child to attend a daily lesson for the week.

How long and how much are classes ?
:
;

Our 30-minute lessons are all priced the same, no matter if you are a first-time toddler or in our Squad classes.

For all pricing, please refer to our newsletters.

Please note: Family discounts are available for 2nd (5%) and 3rd (30%) enrolments. Direct debit options are also available for your convenience.

How do you assess my child’s progress?
:
;

Our friendly staff are always on pool deck assessing classes and ensuring that we are tracking the continued development of your child. This allows us to outline individual areas of improvement and accurately evaluate your child’s progress throughout the term. Live updates of your child’s progress can be viewed through your customer portal allowing you to have a greater understanding of what they have achieved to-date and what they need to achieve to reach the next level.
