Salt Water Swim School Policies

  1. ENROLMENTS

Enrolments are secured once your direct debit has been activated or full payment has been received.

To confirm your booking, there are two payment options:

    1. Full fees pre-paid for the term
    2. Fortnightly Direct Debit
  1. RE-ENROLLING FOR THE NEXT TERM

Your placement automatically rolls over to the next term and a statement will be issued a few weeks prior to the end of the current term that will outline the term dates, lesson times, and fees for the following term. If you do not wish to re-enrol, we kindly ask that you notify the office so your placement can be cancelled.

  1. FAMILY DISCOUNTS
  • 1st child (Full price)
  • 2nd child (5% discount)
  • 3rd and subsequent children (30% discount)
  1. ENROLMENT CANCELLATIONS

Enrolments can be cancelled at the end of the term (as bookings are for the term), please provide prior notice if you wish to cancel at the end of the term.

If you cancel during the term, there will be a $51 processing/administration fee charged.

  1. MAKE UP LESSONSAs a courtesy, we offer 2 make-up classes per term if prior notice of absence has been received.

Absences are marked through your customer portal. Once you have marked your absence, this will automatically activate a make-up. Once activated you will be able to select from a list of available classes which shows what is available up to 7 days in advance.

Make-up terms:

  • Prior notice of absence is essential for a make-up lesson to be available (min 1 hours’ notice).  If you do not provide prior notice of absence, then you do not get a make-up.
  • Make-up lessons are subject to availability and are not always guaranteed (you may not always get a make-up or get your perfect time).
  • Make-ups are spots that come available when a customer marks their absence. Once you are marked away, that spot opens up as a make-up class for someone else to be able to book their make-up into, and vice versa. This is why it is essential for prior notice to be provided in order for everyone to have the chance to be able to do make-ups.
  • Make-up lessons are to be completed within the same term and expire at the end of each term. There are no credits or refunds on unused make-ups.  In the unfortunate event that you are away the last week of term, there will be no make-up options available and no credits or refunds on missed lessons.
  • Fees must be paid to be eligible for a make-up.

If you are travelling, please advise your travel dates as early as possible so your make ups can be registered and available for you to do before you travel. For extended illness or injury, please contact the swim school’s management team to discuss options.

  1. TEACHERS AND LESSON CHANGES

Saltwater Swim School aims to maintain consistency each term, but may sometimes need to move students or change instructors if the need arises.

  1. PARENTAL SUPERVISION

Children must be accompanied by a parent whilst at the Swim School.  Children are not to be left unattended at the poolside, or enter the water until their lesson has commenced or unless they have been instructed to by their Teacher.

8. COURTESY TOWARDS STAFF
Our staff are here to do the best they can to assist and accommodate you.  Please do not show any rude or disrespectful behaviour.

  1. PHOTOGRAPHIC AND VIDEO IMAGES

As a respect of privacy, no photos or videos are to be taken in the pool area without authorisation.

  1. OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION
  • Children who are not fully toilet trained must wear aqua nappies in the pool
  • Children aged 6+ are not permitted in the opposite sex changerooms.  There are parent/child change rooms available for your convenience.
  • Saltwater Swim Schools does not take responsibility for accidents or injuries that occur within or outside the swim school premises.
