Who qualifies for the voucher

Do your children love sport and staying active?

Eligible families may receive up to $200 per child to help cover the cost of participating in organised sport and active recreation activities.

The Get Active Kids Voucher Program provides financial support to help children get involved in the activities they enjoy, making sport and recreation more accessible for families across Victoria.
What the Voucher Covers

The voucher can be used toward:

  • Membership fees

  • Registration costs

  • Approved organised sport and active recreation programs

Who Is Eligible?

Children may be eligible if:

  • They reside in Victoria

  • Their parent or guardian holds a Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card

Eligible children can receive up to $200 each to support their participation

Applications Open
  • Round 10 applications open:
    3 March 2026
Applications Close
  • Round 10 applications close: 2 April 2026 at 10am (or earlier if the budget allocation is fully exhausted)
  • Voucher expiry date: 29 April 2026

Terms and Conditions

Get Active Kids Voucher Program

  • The Get Active Kids Voucher will be redeemed upon enrolment in the Family Account of the SimplySwim Program.
  • In accordance with Service VIC conditions, the voucher must be used for a structured program.
  • If a child withdraws from their Term or Holiday Program enrolment before using the full voucher amount, the remaining balance will remain as a credit on the Family Account.
  • Non-attendance in a program does not qualify for credit against the voucher.
  • The Get Active Kids Voucher is not redeemable for cash under any circumstances.
  • Vouchers are non-refundable and non-transferable.
